Madako is back with a monster of a track. “Embedded” is a groovy track with a fantastic percussions driven beat with a sampled voice. No doubt that Mark Vinneri has a bright future in front of him – he is one to watch out for. On the flip a huge M.A.S. Collective mix can be found. (CA)

Title Untitled Acid EP
Label Deep Focus
Genre House

Petter Nordkvist “These Days” (Deep) was a huge success for him and it was also picked up by Sasha that remixed it for his “Involver” project. Back on the Deep sister label Deep Focus Petter shows his very unique electro style with 3 tracks. They vary from the slow, deep chunky “Freak & Love”, over the wired melodic acid track “Untitled Acid” to “Everyday Baloon” a little lush James Holden styled melody. (CA)  Rating: 7 /10

The original mix of Hyper´s “Come With Me” is a super bass driven track with a commercial female voice hock, that will set the dance floor on fire. Title Lift Me Up
Label Mute
Genre House

One the hottest producers at moment Mylo has given Moby´s “Lift Me Up” a house treatment and the Superdiscount done by Etienne De Crecy tweaks the track into a more dirt techno feel. The Abe Duque remix goes dub and funky. For me the original version of “Lift Me Up” is still the best. (CA)

Artist Matthew Dekay vs. Proluctors
Title Bad
Label DK Records
Genre Progressive

The first time I heard this massive track, was on Extrema Outdoor 2004 featuring a fantastic mix CD done by Matthew Dekay, showing off his production and mix talent – he is the man of the moment. “Bad” is produced by Matthew Dekay and Proluctors (Roob V and Doves) that also did the brilliant “Behind Secret Border” that came out last June. “Bad” kicks off with a deep pulverising rhythm and slowly the track builds with a massive bass and melody line. The riffs in this track are mind blowing and once more show that Matthew Dekay has a brilliant touch. He has brought back the melody in progressive house music that has been lost for so long. Not “bad” at all – essential – going to be a floor killer. On the flip “What If” is included and it’s another killer track that would fit nicely into the beginning of a set. A massive release from DK Records that keeps on releasing essential tracks (CA).

Title Burn
Label Loöq Records
Genre Progressive

After their massive debut with “Ripples” and their second release “Nova Satori”, RND (Robert “Ty” Palazuelos and David “Zephyr” Gropper) is ready with a new progressive monster. “Burn” starts off deep and layer by layer the track builds. The simple melody line fit perfectly into the structure of the track and the dubbed voice flow throughout the track. After the breakdown the track takes total form and the voice changes into full vocal and you are totally embedded in this monster ride of a track. On the flip side Momu delivers a beakbeat version of the track, it’s smooth and sounds great. A real killer release from RND and Loöq Records. (CA)  Rating: 8/10
