Rihanna and Eric Prydz steals the thunder at Danish DeeJay Awards
International hit maker Rihanna and Swedish House guru Eric Prydz cleaned the board, when the 2009 Danish DeeJay Awards handed out its prizes on Easter Sunday. But above all, Danish rapper L.O.C. made his mark with no less than 4 DDJA awards, and another award for a remix L.O.C. / XxxCouture made together with Hampenberg. Also Rune RK won awards for the cooperation with fellow DeeJay Morten Breum, and electronic hitmakers Lulu Rouge showed that the Danish dance and clubbing scene is at the forefront when they won the Danish Producer Of The Year Award, and Danish Upfront-Release Of The Year, and the artists now has the DDJA awards to prove it.

The Danish DeeJay Awards was once again a sounding success on Easter Sunday, as ever the event has been on the forefront of the Danish and International Discoteque- and clubbing scene. Valbyhallen in Copenhagen formed the stage for the event, once again sold out to the last of the 4000 seats.

The event was hosted by DeeJay and international TV host Thomas Madvig, he made sure that everyone felt his humour and wid.

The International Discoteque Hit: RIHANNA / Disturbia
No one can take the honors away from Rihanna for making a statement with the instant floorfiller Disturbia, neither could the Danish DeeJays. She could walk away with a DDJA trophy proving her right to the The International Discoteque Hit prize.

The International DeeJay of the Year: STEVE ANGELLO & SEBASTIAN INGROSSO / Sensation
27.000 people went to the Sensation White event in Denmark last year, and the Swedish House Mafia made natiomal arena Parken boil with their house remixes. For that the Danish DeeJay Awards presents Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso with the prize International DeeJay Of The Year.

The International Upfront Release Of The Year & International DeeJay Favorite Hit Of The Year: ERIC PRYDZ / Pjanoo
Just say the name, Pjanoo and everyone starts dancing! Eric Prydz proved that the Swedish house scene has made it to Denmark. And distinct track intro will live on for quite a while, after Eric Prydz takes home his 2 DDJA trophy.

L.O.C. swept the Danish DeeJay Awards clean with 4 trophies and a remix
The Danish rapper L.O.C showed himself as the big winner, when the Danish DeeJay Awards show handed over the DDJA trophies, in front of more 4000 guests. With 4 DDJA trophies for his own tracks, and even a remix done together with Hampenberg, the award night had L.O.C. written all over it.

Afterparty until the break of dawn
After midnight when all the prizes was handed over and the spotlight turned off, the dancing shoes was lit and the partying began. DDJA has always been known and respected for its Afterparty, and once again everyone let their hair down and showed the latest moves on the dancefloor.
