One of the must successful Scandinavian clubs is taking on Ibiza and Parham Shafti is bringing the trademark Fokused club to one of the exclusive clubs La Diosa, where Dave Seaman, Pete Gooding, Kasey Taylor, Lexicon Avenue and many others will be spinning over the summer. We talked to Parham about his new adventure.

You are running the very successful Fokused club in Sweden – what do you feel are the reason for your success?
- Hard work and the fact that we love what we do I guess. But foremost thanks to the people who have supported us during the years.

You are now taking Fokused to Ibiza – tell us a little about this!
- To get the opportunity to see your baby grow is everyone’s dream. Fokused is our baby. And when we were asked to put on a night at La Diosa, one of the more exclusive venues in Ibiza we had a very comfortable feeling about this. However it turns out we are happy to have been able to take another step out in the world, to represent Scandinavia.

You must have some very strong sponsors backing you – it’s a gamble going to the next level of clubbing?
- Its always a gamble in this business, so I would like to say that we in some way are daredevils. But at the same time when you love something the way we do and when we see likeminded people it makes it worth the try.

Are we going to see Fokused again in Denmark or is Malmö the new city?
- We would love to come back to Denmark. I played at Roskilde myself the other weekend and it reminded me of how fun it can be, even if it was a very muddy festival.
