DJ SNEAK
Clubbing Magazine warms up to the coming Roskilde Festival with an interview with DJ Sneak who you can see live on the decks at Roskildes Metropol Stage. We met him when he visited Copenhagen and Okyo some months back.

How did Copenhagen treat you?
Copenhagen was a real treat, after having flight nightmares with BA, and not getting my luggage all I wanted was to have a good time and forget my problems. The hospitality was great, I had an amazing time.

How was the crowd?
The crowd was awesome, I really didn't know what to expect, but as soon as I got there and got rockin' they belonged to me and my sound. They went hard all night long and took everything I gave them till the end.

I heard a thing about hot dogs?
This is one of my favorite memories about Denmark, I remember back in the day about 7 years ago I played "Roskilde" Festival and remember taking a taxi to Copenhagen to go to "Christiana" and some frikkin' amazing hot dogs, I love the hot dogs in Denmark. For real!

What's the best about Denmark?
Hot Dogs! Hahaha! I would say the hospitality and the people in Copenhagen, I felt right at home, need to return soon!

Where did the name Sneak come from?
As you might it have heard I'm a "graffitti" writer, sneak was my "graff" name, when I became a DJ I just kept the name. I first seen the letters SNEAK in the famous US TV Guide, a small mag that tells you what was on TV. It still around I think.

Doesn't cold places like Denmark and Chicago make you miss your home island?
I miss my island of Puerto Rico, but where ever I find myself in the globe PR. is in my heart and my music.I got used to the cold after a while , it doesn't really bother me at all these days. Maybe I'll get a house in Denmark one day! For the
delicious HOT DOGS hahaha!

Did you ever see the faces of the guys inside Daft Punk?
Yep, they're typical French looking dudes, they are just like us human after all! They just wanted to keep their personal life away from the media, they are great guys, they know they're stars but they don't have to act like the rest of the phonies in the industry. Guy Manuel and Thomas are geniuses and they have kept everybody wondering what they look like. Pure genius!

It's been seven years since Sneak last visited Roskilde.
I played after a really cool Laurent Garnier live set, I loved every minute of it. I'm looking forward to coming again soon and giving it a
good rock down... 2006 I hope!
