Yousef - UK’s answer to Roger Sanchez |
From Liverpool comes Yousef a fresh lad with Egyptian roots, he is
one of the up and coming super DJs of the world. He has been DJ’ing since
the age of 15 and in 1999 he won the Muzik Magazine “Bedroom Bedlam”
competition and this propelled him into a fantastic DJ career, playing at
Renaissance, Ministry Of Sound, Cream, Space, Bed, Back2Basis, Shine,
Roskilde Festival 2001 and last year he started his own club night called
“Circus” in Liverpool.
Yousef has over the years released “Creamfields 2001”, “Mixer Presents:
Next School, Vol. 1”, “The Mix” CD compilations, a couple of 12” under the
alias 10,000BC and has remixed Aphrohead, Meeker, Stella Browne and
Chocolate Puma. Today he is also a part of the BBC Radio One Dance team
underlining his status as UK’s answer to Roger Sanchez.
