Title Fashionized
Label Mashtronic Records Digital

Leron Yves Eaux & Luke Star laid down a dirty cooker for the dancefloors with “Fashionized” a deep and twisted house tune that with its distorted sounds and rhythm fills the speakers with a tuff sound. The Nick K remix is a cleaner version of the track and only the vocal and melody line is left. (CA)

This release includes a remix from Jamie Stevens (Infusion) and it is interesting to hear that one of my favourite bands has also embraced the electro sound that still is so dominant on the scene. The original mix is a strange dirty mixture of sounds and grooves that is right for a dance floor workout. The Opencloud mix is a more chilled and minimal version of the tune. (CA)

Vapour unleashes another hard hitting progressive beat monster in the form of a double a-sided release by upcoming UK DJ and producer Anil Chawla. Anil has already done remixes of the likes of Adam Freeland and has over 10 releases under his belt. “Everybody Loves Candy” is a dark bouncy track with a floating melody line. “Stuck In A Loop” is a bit deeper and housier and has a great build and feel to it. Well this is a release for the lovers of strange minimal electro beats. The four tracks from Alex Wolfenden (aka BAGNASTY) vary but all in all this is not a release for me – it’s too simple and a bit mindless and it’s just another release in the big pile of electro crap that is overflowing the scene right now. “128 Bass Killer Attack The Pop Industry” is an electro track that has a nice dark bass, but I’m so tired of this sound - mindless bass and melody line. “Am I A Robot” is a mindless electro track that tries to be clever but isn’t. The Danish indie outfit moi Caprice gets remixed by Montero. The original song “To The Lighthouse” is taken from their “You Can’t Say No Forever” album from 2005.
